This Privacy Policy explains how Prompt Builder & Library (“Prompt Builder,” “we,” “us”) handles your information when you use our website and Android app. By using the service you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

Account information. When you sign up we collect your email address and an encrypted password, handled by our authentication provider (Supabase).

Content you create. Prompts you write, generate, save, or publish, and related metadata such as titles, categories, and scores.

Usage data. Basic technical information such as device type, browser, and in-app actions, used to operate and improve the service. We do not sell your personal information.

How we use your information

To provide and maintain your account, generate and score prompts, enforce usage limits and prevent abuse, respond to support requests, and improve the product.

Third-party services

We rely on trusted providers that process data on our behalf: Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting), Upstash (rate limiting), and AI model providers via OpenRouter. When you use the prompt generator or chat, the text you submit is sent to these AI providers to produce a response. Do not enter sensitive personal information into prompts.

Cookies and local storage

We use cookies and local storage strictly to keep you signed in and remember preferences. We do not use them for third-party advertising.

Data retention

We keep your account data while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

Security

We use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

Children

Prompt Builder is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above and, where appropriate, by notice within the app.
